Description
OPCs are readily bioavailable bioflavonoids extracted from red grape seeds that have important antioxidant and blood vessel-protective properties. They are able to protect tissue from degradation of collagen and elastin (important connective tissue proteins) and promote the formation of collagen microfibrils. Due to its high Vitamin C content, Acerola extract is used for its immunomodulatory action (useful in infectious diseases) and, to a lesser extent, antihistamine and protection of the upper airways. Vitamin C also possesses documented antioxidant activity by virtue of which it reduces lipid peroxidation, oxidative DNA damage and protein damage. It is useful in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and has chelating activity against heavy metals, making it useful in detoxification therapies. It can positively influence iron absorption. Vitamin C may have a protective effect on eyesight and prevent cataracts. Vitamin C also contributes to collagen synthesis and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and supports the normal functioning of the nervous system and psyche. Acerola fruits also contain bioflavonoids, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, provitamin A and various minerals including iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.
1 capsule 2 times a day.
Period of use: it is recommended to take this product for at least 2 months. In case of benefit, the intake can be continued for longer periods (4 months) In case of need, the treatment can be repeated in cycles throughout the year (2-4 months yes/2 months no or 2-4 months yes/4 months no).
